I feel encouraged by you and all our sisters who take the time to listen to, read and as you well described: stay in tune with current events worldwide. The lessons are far and wide and clear to the open heart and mind willing to wrestle with difficult circumstances, how did it begin? Why? What was at stake and why did the believe who they believe? What did they promise and what did they deliver? How? What did journalist say at the time and what was allowed or not allowed to be printe/said…the list is endless.
It was only after I became married, well after finishing 6 years of a higher education that I decided: I want to understand history, politics….its not enough to watch news, in fact that’s but maybe 1% edifying. One must read…and a lot, from refutable sources.
When I read that Medium encourages us to stay in the 4-6 min mark, I’m reminded how few really read in depth long journalistic articles that dive in depth. We’ve lost that for years. Very few read their news. And X, Instagram, TikTok and FB —all are still bite sized nuggets.
We need the heavy fiber…the stories and articles that require concentration and heart.
Thank YOU for following our story…Maria Corina Machado has made history and will undoubtedly be a hero generations will appreciate one day how she turned the tide. A battle continues, I have no idea how or when it will end, but the lessons are vibrantly clear.
I so hope America stays vigilant! Thanks as always for engaging sis. Love ya!
