I appreciate that you are true to yourself and you respect others; your writing exposes us to viewpoints many of us may never "meet" or face.

I think it's far more dangerous to have children and then realize you are not what it takes to be a loving parent - but I can see your point:

Some do quickly dismiss it and not realize how rewarding it can be.

But the sacrifice and investment is so great to those of us who become parents...it's simply like no other.
