You are absolutely right that only half the story is asking for an apology and the other half—how truthful it is, does too make a difference.

I recognize many do say what’s needed just to give the other party what they want. As I finished my article—only will their future actions indicate how truthful said apology is. I’m sorry you’ve encountered those fake apologies.

I hope you’ll continue to find the necessary boundary between those you and those relationships that do not bring you any value.

Stealing Sanity—remember that you hold the reigns of who is allowed in your sphere and how much of your sanity they get to affect. Be ferocious in protecting your time and mind.
