Hi Pamela!!!!! Thanks for your personal feedback -- and while it may be some insight I'm hoping to provide, I may very well be wrong. But, just remember to be looking on the middle left-hand side of the details of the story to find "Lifetime member reading time"...which I feel should be shown more prominently, as compared to the average reading time shown boldly and at the top.

One thing I've done so I can remember what Medium shows versus the enhanced statistics. There's a Chrome extension that I downloaded and I'm given more information-- although I can't recall if it's that necessary to have.

You're doing really great in my opinion and don't let me send you into any rabbit hole nor get distracted from your writing. Just take what helps and keep doing the great work you are!!
