I enjoyed learning about how Germany handles this topic. I appreciate that they look out for women, and yes, as you pointed out, truly allow the time to weigh what is a very difficult decision.

Have never talked about it - nor written - but I too was given an opportunity to weigh the option of abortion, and I can speak first-handedly that it is exceptionally difficult.

Perhaps that, and seeing how the disenfranchised are the most hurt and at risk, makes me want to help protect women's choices and their lives.

Both in your article and here - I applaud and commend you for bringing up the topic of contraceptives and the medical attention/help women need for family planning. I am 100% with you on that.

You didn't sound harsh; you were seeking clarification and making your position clearer to me. Now that I see you weren't talking about the legalities, I probably would have said, I stand by - "to each his own."

I cannot even begin to place my opinion on another's when it comes to having a baby and raising a child. It is by far one of the most complicated and financial-burdensome decisions any woman will ever make.
