Hi Jenn!šŸ¤—šŸ¤—First and foremost: itā€™s not bad at all!!!! Remember this, some start and make over 100 in first month and triple by second, so would it be correct for me to say: Iā€™m doing poorly in comparison?
Your numbers tells me: youā€™re growing and youā€™re improving! (Yes, you AND I both want moreā€”so we dig deeperā€¦but please, sweet Jennā€”no estĆ”s haciendo mal para nada!!!!!!)

Okayā€”now to the other:
Go find your 10 best stories; you have the numbers to now analyze your stories. Go look at the comments and people:
Find your fans!

Deepen the relationship with those you enjoy reading and who enjoy yours.

You want to get to a point where you know at least 50 people show up to read. That number may sound lowā€”but itā€™s not easy to do at all.

Youā€™ve done an amazing job at developing a routine of writing and getting eyeballs.

Now pivot and yes: spend time understand what and who youā€™re readingā€¦and know that engagement is a huge tool for long term results in medium. Thatā€™s my personal philosophyā€”and if you think about it:

Most of us want to write and feel connected.

Ask yourself this:
Would you stay on medium if you earned $1000 a month but there were zero comment engagements?

I couldnā€™tā€¦I thrive on human connection, and we learn from one another.

You made good points about thinking of headlinesā€”I think we all need to work on that, and our writingā€¦

Read from top writers too who donā€™t necessarily engage with us and notice what and how they write. Ask yourself: why do you think their pieces do well??

Jenn donā€™t give upā€¦but we have to find a consistent system and understand what we do well and what we donā€™t.

Letā€™s keep chatting and happy to share whatever I learn along the way to help!
Thank you for reading my article!!šŸ˜˜ā™„ļøšŸ™ŒšŸ½
