Hi Elvira, wanted to say hi and let you know you’re thought of and missed. I hope you and your loved ones are all well. As always fascinated by your language articles, enjoyed the videos you included…it made me wonder what are we losing over time as we gravitate to languages as English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese and other popular languages while losing these indigenous ones. What are the long term evolutionary changes that will happen to man as we lose all those languages? …seems to be we will never know.

I feel such a sense of loss.
