Hi Ellen!!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts...we think similarly -- and I have to say, I've seen families living in developing countries with far less and so much happier than people in wealth in the US.

I wished for so many of my American friends to witness just once--- just one time being out...and so I just had to make one last attempt to have my students truly reconsider it.
