HI DL -- first of all, my sincerest sympathies for the devastation that is wrecking your nation. You did a spectacular job capturing the spirit of volunteerism and giving us a peek into the amazing work. I'm in awe and many of us worldwide are donating and just hoping/praying Ukraine will come out victorious -- it will! I love your positivity.

I've been writing in Medium for a short month - but if I may, can I offer a word of advice:

You had an article packed full of great information. But it's long. To give an idea of what you can do, create a series where your introductory story is about 3-5 minutes. Have subsequent stories - as different parts or maybe you create a publication and then each volunteer story is a chapter/article.

What does this does for you: increase readership. I read the full 10 minutes - but I have to tell you it was the exception.

And I get it - sometimes we feel it needs to be over 10 minutes and you the author call the shots -- and by all means, maybe it needs to be that long.

If your goal is to increase readers and follows, just wanted to pass along a suggestion in case it helps. Keep up the amazing work -- wish I could help.

Thanks for sharing. (By the way -- ignore the negative comments in your section...no need to address that when you have a war-torn nation to deal with...just write your heart out and respond to the readers that connect with you!)

Stay safe and well.
