Hi Anum,
Greetings!
I just read, clapped 50 times and am now engaging with you - but instead of talking about your article, I'd like to present some advice.
You left me a comment asking me to follow and show some love -- I'm not sure you read my article, as your comment didn't show any significant
engagement, but if you did, thank you.
However, I'd like to share with you that asking others to follow is unnecessary - in many cases, including myself.
If someone read, claps and comments -- sincerely -- showing they actually read my article - I am going to reciprocate 100% of the time. I am not alone and many will do this.
There are some you will read, clap and comment and won't. That's fine - gain knowledge, skill for writing by having read -- but only follow that writer if you genuinely feel they write about topics you enjoy or you will grow from.
MANY writers here want to grow a followership as you but when I get people asking me directly or tellling me they followed me so I should do the same:
You are eliminating total control over my choices. Writers who do this assume they know what I like and how I'd like to spend my time. It doesn't sit well with me.
In order to help you - I thought, why not read her article fully, clap and comment - and instead of ignoring you (which by the way, I almost always do when people ask me to follow them) -- I am hoping to give you value, and share my valuable time with you by asking you:
read other
clap
comment
Follow if you genuinely want to --
And people will follow!
Here's the deal - they don't even have to follow: the fact that I came and fully read your article is what is going to fund your earnings. Not followers! You want a loyal base of readers -- that's what you need to cultivate.
Wishing you the best!
Have a wonderful day and wekeend!
