Let me first share the details of the book, "Taking Charge of ADHD" by Russell A. Barkley...(I hope it's not an old read, as we are talking over 10 years ago when I read but made such an impression on me)...

After reading it and watching it unfold in Nathan -- I think of some of my older uncles and one aunt on my mom's side all have it --who all grew up in such a small country and time where 100% they wouldn't have even believed ADHD was a thing, and it deeply affected their lives as I see a chain of events that occurred.

People don't realize how empowering education is...anyhow --

I felt comforted in a way that you understood why I "lied" and avoided that label --- and look at us both, talking about it and even wanting the world to know more about it! 🥰
