He did get two interviews, which are stories of themselves and it didn’t lead to a call back….

when I stepped in and tried to now be more involved in it, I realized his poor communication skills needed support—

two places did offer work but wanted him to start toward the end of August.
I also realized, getting a job and starting all takes a solid 3-4 weeks—so everyone starts in May…

when we started in July it was too late.

Had he been really good with confidence and communication, he would have found work. I tried to have him do it 80% on his own—but I think I needed to be somewhat involve to explain, he has support and it’s not just a random person.

I think from what we both learned, I’ll eventually be able to help him find work. I think a work study job would be ideal—so I need to check that out next.
