Great write-up - and so much I could share, but we could talk for hours about this!

I tried on "social media" (FB to be exact) to allow my bubble to stay as heterogeneous as possible, if I may use that word so that it would be balanced and have a healthy mix of both sides.

But then - one side is one of hate. And I tried - oh so hard, to just let them both be. But I noticed what it was doing to ME -- I noticed how it was affecting my view of THEM. And social media are these snip-its of sound bites that form a very small part of who we are and the lives we live. But I couldn't see that at the time, and my anger grew as I cannot tolerate injustice and hate -- I cannot tolerate judgment and hypocrisy.

So I actually did form a bubble by unfriending a few individuals - and it shocked me that I did that. But the truth is, hate begets hate. I didn't want to hate them...I didn't want to get angry at them anymore. And the social media platform was THE last place that was going to help us see one another as individuals with full lives and opinions and clearly - there are places where we do agree, but we were not going to discover it here.

Okay - see? I'm getting carried away - as I said: I could talk for hours about this! LOL --

Loved your article and thanks for asking...lovely Henry sent me your way! I'm glad she did -- she's a gem of a soul!!!
