I don’t delete followers—don’t see the point. And I don’t buy the theory: hurts your stats—doesn’t make sense to me. Picture this: the field is leveled bc they’re doing it to all articles…so the pot will still get paid according to engagement metrics and in the grand scheme, those few disingenuous who clap and leave—minuscule effect on articles. Negligible—

Then add the difficulty of sorting followers from those you know are legitimate to random followers—I could never lose a minute of valuable reading or writing time worrying about followers.

They are who they are….its always been like this in medium. Doubt it’ll ever change…

Key is to focus your time and energy on that which betters or adds to your life—
