What’s the first thing you do in the morning after a snowstorm?

If you are like me and you teach— you check your emails or voicemails to find out the verdict: was it bad enough to cancel classes?

My kids lived for snow days! And I will not lie — the break from work was always a treat — so long as — there weren’t too many.

When you map out a semester and the students complain about the pace being too fast in college, there is a nightmare in the making when you now have fewer days to get it done… (not so) fun times!

Moving along.

So — we all sleep in a little longer. We hang out in PJs most of the day and veg in front of our favorite shows!
