Dr Manning, I adore you. Your writing is exquisite and while I so wanted to keep a somber mindset because of the sincere, serious battles you had—you insisted on cracking me up every paragraph! I felt guilty!

But I hope it meant laughter does embrace you through the difficult moments. I can’t offer any advice nor know what lies ahead…..I have my own battles of self image and weight gain.

But I must say—running down a hill naked with fellow queens sounds marvelous! DO IT, and I’ll personally take offense if you do not write and tell us about it!
