From time to time, when we do hit or write something that’s of great value to many whether they know us or not, it gets better readership.

But that’s not sustainable every, single, article/essay.

I agree btw—how many can we follow well and do that constantly? I reas a very old article of yours, where you mentioned a spreadsheet, I do the same, and someone else told me (maybe Michele?) does the same…and long term, I wonder what that number is for me??

I’ve done an experiment, I want to do it long term—I want to see how many big writers will notice my clap, read and engaged comment and reciprocate when I’m just a “nobody” to them and do they reciprocate??…as you may guess—almost none do. But I need a large sample…so I’ll keep doing randomly and share long term what I see.
