It’s commendable that you tried to find any and all possible reasons why that was done to you—I don’t see any. It was childish and inexcusable.
I have many aunts and uncles and I know I don’t have a kind of relationship with many of them such that if I had to approach them about such a thing, I wouldn’t be able to be frank about it…but I wonder if talking it out does bring some closure?
