Beautifully said and written….great point!

I think my analysis sometimes runs parallel in two different worlds:
Yes (1) writing for our hearts and letting the chips fall where they may—as you said, whoever connects, great—whoever doesn’t—awesome.

And writing (2) as a technical/artistic field where I’m a student and the art is one I want to further understand from different angles…to be able to author a book someday or write a memorable speech …etc.

But at the end of the day, here in Medium—yes it’s often forgetting and not caring what others think—I can see that to an extent now, a year ago—not so much.
