Barb - I don't know what draws me so much to your art...what astounds me about it is that "seemingly" the faces seem so simple and easy to draw - they look so perfect --- and there is SO much expression...I could see ...whether sadness, perplexity, pensive, content, peace, sorrow....

it has a mark - and I now I know and understand: the artist's unique mark.

You are the ONLY artist I know so well having observed and learned from all you shared - how people are able to look at art and say "Oh- that's so and so..."

Part of it is: I never took art classes and I never understood/nor appreciated it. My brain doesn't process or understand that "world"....

I share all of this...because I want you to know how powerful your writing and teaching have been and what you are able to do through writing by sharing your art.

I'm so glad you let your artist shine - I know your journey, and it makes me appreciate it even more when we see your end products....
