Aw Ellen—such a beautiful essay—I can’t believe I almost missed this one.

From your writings and essays, I see a tenderness and care that I sense only we get to see. But I love you’ve grown to understand where is your safe place and with whom…you’re a gorgeous human being—in and out and thanks for sharing what the journey has been like.

I think we often forget what brought a person to where they are when they lash out or seem distant…you made me reflect upon a friend.
