Aw Deborah—can’t thank you enough for this response. I hesitate to post about teaching—it can be such a personal nuanced field and one that is so unique at times to the teacher. I wonder if it can open a can of worms for many who just don’t relate or those who share Shaw’s opinion.

I loved learning that you teach—had no idea. Please do write about the pre pandemic experience and its impact on you. I believe it’s still occurring on many teachers who are barely hanging by a thread—and what’s giving is —education. 😞
