At the end of your poem, you wrote "a little lost, and a little cold" -- my mind went straight to the word, lost.
"I wonder why he chose lost?"
Then an entire section dedicated to "lost" - was fascinating and wonderful to read. Hmmm - never thought about a mental escape as "lost" --
Religion was deeply ingrained in my early years and one commonly repeated phrase focuses on "I was lost, now I'm found" -- and it's implanted as a negative (the notion of being lost - I noticed when I read it and how I grew concerned)
...but I absolutely loved how she said, "Feeling lost can be a gift - if you choose to look at it this way"
I can see it as the place of rebirth or stepping further out to properly introspect.
Much love...thanks for always introspecting with us. Have a wonderful evening/day! ;-)
