As someone who understand deeply what religion does to followers—particularly women, I’d love to share a theory…about your mom.

She placed it—because she wanted one more chance/assurance/effort to be sure he would enter the gates of heaven and be with her.

Catholicism places a binding stronghold I have a hard time putting in words what I’ve observed and seen in those who follow the Catholic religion—which is very different to the Protestants—which also vary in which country you grow up with it. One day—I may write about it. I think for many years I’ll continue to write my private notes and see where it leads…but it’s not something I feel free to do:
