As a woman - I concur! Listen first, ask questions for clarification...and if she looks happy and sounds happy - you gave her all she wanted, and it never hurts to ask her: is there something else you need or is there something you would like me to do to help...shows kindness. I bet that could open the door at times for her to be ready to listen to a possible if she needs or wants one...
