Anything that is easier (scrap paper in the junk drawer or the "notes" app on your phone)...as you eat, watch a show, or stop at a traffic light, your mind is processing ideas and write them down.

Do you know what's interesting? I have been doing that for three months - and every time I sit to do writing, it turns out to not be any of those. But I tell you it keeps growing and growing -- I doubt many of them will become a thing, but it's there just in case.

The other thing I do Jenn -- I write stuff like this post and others that just come to mind with ZERO purposes for medium and only to let my thoughts flow and see how I am able to express them. It stays a draft. I walk away and read more. I'll come back to it later and work with it - or I'll delete it -- or I'll keep it for myself. Remember -- that's also daily writing practice.

I think many get caught up with the "race" of writing every day means publishing every day. I'm sure at some point top writers have a system and have enough articles built up and/or have the ability to write up something quickly enough to where they do that and do it well.

One last thing I want to share with you: I went to a webminar the other day. Ayodeji -- he's magnificent and if you're not following, I encourage you to and read his advice. There are others that you are probably getting equally good advice, sharing just in case.

Anyhow - in a timed exercise he had us write as many headlines as we could think of aiming for 10; granted bc of his little time he rushed us to do it one minute. It was very hard...BUT I have to tell you - forcing yourself to come up with headlines for the sake of it will make you think of random things you are able to talk about and one of those could be a story for the day.

That exercise was simple - and yet very helpful.

Okay -- I've overloaded you. But just some thoughts as you work on your September goal! Wishing you the BEST MONTH EVER!!!!!

Hugs!
