Where I have a LOT of room for growth is in remaining unbothered and calm when others shoot me down with criticism or when I am misunderstood. Then I feel I have to justify or engage...I thank you for this idea, but I have a pretty good idea she and her tribe will come down on it heavily with: you just don't get it.

I used to engage a lot on public pages on FB -- I used to use it to practice writing and taking the time to learn to word my expressions reason and critical thinking. I try hard to stay away from emotional reasons.

I was disappointed how little effect it had on them -- and me. Although the ones I kept choosing to engage with were full of fury.
