All through my teenage years I learned by watching aunt Karin, who was my mom’s dear friend, what it was like to live with a prosthetic eye. This is over 30 years ago….i can tell yours has a much better fitting and size….as always, time and technology keep bringing better medical options.

But I’ll say, you gave me insight into the emotional trauma that I don’t think I appreciated such a change just bring….i felt bad for not realizing. You’re beautiful, strong, courageous and positive—thanks for teaching us and bringing willing to be vulnerable.
