Ah—good question.
Hmmmm.
Well, now that you have me sitting here for close to a minute, wrestling with it—
I think to fail is to decide to not work on writing anymore—but then again, there are some circumstances that warrant that, some of which are beyond control and so maybe are not failures???
Well here’s one way to fail: to be made aware of how to improve and not.
Or to get wrapped up in views, earnings and forget that the skill of writing will always have room to grow—
To get so comfortable writing anything and think it’s “good enough”…we fail ourselves—what we could be or have been had we stayed mindful—
It’s hard to stay objective in a place like Medium where we all support and seek support—but I think we all have that duty: if we want to succeed.
Success.
Hmmm—my friend—
That 100% is relative—it’s like wealth or comfort—-
Earnings? Or as a writer?? Or as a more open minded informed human being??
I have goals in each—the first one is clearly defined for me. The other two—welp—-
Those are moving goalposts 😜
Mr. Boustani you have me in deep thought!!!😉😌—-write and tell us your definition!! What’s a failure or success to you???!
