A Closed Door Cannot Show You What Is on the Other Side Until You Open It
It was the door I didn’t want to open — but the one I clearly had to choose
Two nights ago, my husband and I made a decision. Once made, I felt the burdensome weight removed from my shoulders. I have been carrying this weight for a very long time — I forgot what “lighter” actually feels like.
The air became clearer.
Do you know how those apps keep running in the background on your phone unnecessarily depleting your battery? This is what an undealt burden has been doing to my reserves. It has slowly been depleting the energy out of me — I didn’t know how to stop it.
Until I finally walked through this door.
